Deb Baggett, CONFERENCE ADMINISTRATOR
Deb graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems in 1986. Immediately after college she began working in the financial industry. She held several security licenses and worked her way up to the Director of Marketing of a Denver-based financial advisory firm. After over a decade in that industry, Deb resigned to be with her two boys to help them navigate their way through middle and high school. She became a career volunteer at that point. Deb served as the President of the Green Mountain High School Football Boosters for three years, then shifted her efforts to Denver School of the Arts and volunteered in their theater program. Deb and her husband John attend The River Church in Lakewood, CO where she sings on the Worship Team. Deb also served as their Treasurer. She grew up in the church and gave her life to Jesus as a young person. Deb loves to serve the Lord and now has the privilege of working as The River Conference’s Administrator. Deb and John enjoy living in Colorado and all that it has to offer. They love to hike the mountains with their dogs and are avid travelers. Their oldest son, Joseph, recently joined the Army and their youngest son, Alex, is an actor / waiter.
Sally Trager, FINANCE MANAGER
Sally is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in church-related finances. Sally joined The River Conference in August 2015. She lives in Lakewood, Colorado with her husband, Ken. They have two children, Kenny who is married to Haley, and Katelyn who attends Azuza Pacific University.
Dan Bonney, CULTURAL DIVERSITY DIRECTOR
After growing up in the Dominican Republic, Pastor Dan attended college and seminary in the States. Following marriage to Paula, he returned to the Dominican Republic and lived there for 14 years. With their sons, Christopher and Jordan, they came to Spokane Valley in August of 2003. Pastor Dan writes, "One of my strongest convictions is that the church should be a loving and caring family; a safe place where we are encouraged to grow in our Christian faith. Church should be a healthy connection; not only to God, but also to each other and to our community. At OCF this is our goal. We invite you to join us."
Ted Haggard, CHURCH PLANT DIRECTOR
Ted Haggard is the founding pastor of St. James Church in Colorado Springs, CO, the second church he and his wife, Gayle, have started during their 36-year marriage. Their first church, New Life Church, enjoyed 22 consecutive years of double-digit growth, primarily through conversions, and grew from 20 people meeting in the basement of their home to 14,000 people meeting on a $60 million campus. Ted served as president of the 30 million member National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003-2006. During these years, he often represented evangelicalism in the media and with world leaders. He also built, the World Prayer Center and worldprayerteam.org, which was the largest network of praying believers in the world, coordinated at the World Prayer Center. He also founded the Association of Life-Giving Churches, which merged with the Association of Related Churches in 2006. Ted resigned from all leadership positions for a period of healing and restoration in 2006. Four years later, in 2010, Ted and Gayle started St. James church in their barn before purchasing an office building and auditorium for weekly services. Gayle released a New York Times best-selling book titled Why I Stayed in 2010, and her second book, Courageous Grace, in 2013. Ted and Gayle live in Colorado Springs, where four of their five children also live. Their oldest son, Marcus, is attending Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C., where he lives with his wife and two children. Ted did his undergraduate work at Oral Roberts University, studied masters level counseling at the University of Phoenix, and received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Colorado Christian University.
Magda Ruano, LATINO MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Magdalena and her husband Salomon have pastored Iglesia Damasco in Caldwell, Idaho for the past nine years. They have one daughter, Belen, who is 11 years old and has been a huge blessing in their lives. She migrated with her parents and six siblings from Mexico at the age of four. Magda grew up in a catholic home but a supernatural healing of her mom brought them to the feet of Christ. She saw that healing with her own eyes which impacted her greatly. Magda has been active in the church her entire life. From the moment she accepted Jesus into her heart, Magda knew that she would be happiest in His service.
